NCPC Sri Lanka is a leading Energy Service Company (ESCo) registered under Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA). Eng. Samantha Kumarasena and Eng. Ruwan Wijemanna of NCPC team were enlisted as Accredited Energy Auditors in Sri Lanka recently.
NCPC as an ESCo possess a competent team of energy engineers in-house and a state-of-the-art bank of instruments. It has conducted more than 200 energy audits during last 6 years including the Covid pandemic period.
Meanwhile, NCPC Sri Lanka holds the accreditation for conducting both Energy Auditor and Energy Manager training in Sri Lanka under SLSEA.
Energy Auditor Accreditation Scheme was established in 2011 with Energy Auditor regulations under Section 38 (1) of the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority Act, No. 35 of 2007. To qualify as an Energy Auditor the applicant should be a Graduate in Engineering (BSc Engineering) and has ten years work experience in the field of energy management. In addition to the above educational qualifications, the applicant should have followed the comprehensive Energy Auditor training programme accredited by SLSEA and should have carried out at least 10 energy audits substantially covering both thermal and electrical aspects.
