Message from Ms. Anika Kiefer from GIZ
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) has been engaged with sustainable development-related activities in Sri Lanka over the decades.
For us, circular thinking with regard to resources and processes is a great approach to uncover the main drivers of environmental impacts of processes and products and to identify improvement potential. Therefore we are currently in the implementation stage of the Advancing Life Cycle Assessment in Sri Lanka Project in cooperation with the NCPC and the ecoinvent Association Switzerland.
Against this background, we are very much pleased and enthusiastic to support the NCPC in conducting the 2nd International Conference on ‘Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy’ 2022.
